EVAS Directors met with Transport Scotland and Chargeplace Scotland in Glasgow this month to discuss current performance of the network, areas highlighted by members where improvements are necessary as well as areas where best practice and good performance have been reported. Future repair and maintenance strategies were discussed, including Subjects covered included the relocation of call centre services, including the improved call handling and logging. Papers were presented on further development in enhancing EV uptake and the growth of the network beyond simple EV charging, including electricity network support service and potential community support projects. A number of actions were taken away by Transport Scotland and ChargePlace Scotland that we expect to be updated about early in the New Year.
