For the UK this legislation may have an impact on the ongoing US/UK trade talks, which may see pressure brought to bear on the Westminster Government to take a similar stance.
Under current Covid-19 stay at home guidance, there has been a marked improvement in air quality in our cities, something that the Association will be highlighting as a permanent ongoing benefit with large scale adoption of electrified public transport, active travel and zero-emission electric vehicles.
