Miralis Data, a transport-focused software and data science company, has been chosen amongst 32 UK climate tech and cleantech companies to join Tech Nation’s Net Zero 2.0 programme. The programme focuses on the companies with ideas, innovations and potential to help the UK work towards its 2050 net zero goal.
Following the official launch earlier this year of its flagship product Fuuse, an electric vehicle chargepoint management system, this latest accolade shines a light on the key role Miralis is playing in the transition to low emission vehicles.
Hundreds of companies from across the UK were assessed by 40 judges as part of the programmes’ application process. Amongst the judges were climate specialists, investors and senior representatives from key industries, including representatives from Google, National Grid, Bulb and B Corp, to name a few.
Miralis join fellow EV pioneers and partners Paua on the programme.
Michael Gibson, Managing Director at Miralis, said:
“Our mission at Miralis is the decarbonisation of the transport sector, the biggest single emitter of CO2 and the slowest to change. Through our charge point management system Fuuse we’re already making significant ground in helping companies transition to electric vehicles, as well as optimise their energy usage.
There is so much more to do, a pipeline of new innovations, so much opportunity and a great team to deliver it. Working with the team at Tech Nation we hope to get there quicker and even better prepared.”
Martin Peters, Finance Director at Miralis, added:
“This truly is a fantastic achievement and being selected as a leading cleantech scale-up in the UK is a huge milestone for us as a company. This is testament to the dedicated team we have working with us. Everyone at Miralis is committed to being part of the bigger picture of reducing emissions and securing our place on the Net Zero 2.0 programme is a clear marker we are on the right track. The team should be very proud of what has been achieved so far, and we will certainly be spurred on to push the boundaries further as we continue innovating towards the future we all want to see.”
